Calculate a labor rate

I am trying to calculate a labor rate from a field called wage that could either be an hourly rate or an annual rate. Here is what I have so far:

If([Wage]>=$10,000.00, [Wage]/2080, [Wage])

I am lost. thank you for any help.

    I ended up with this and it works. then just had to format the field as currency.

    If([Wage]>=10000, [Wage]/2080, [Wage])
