Can an APP Copy be updated like a Save as file?

Question

Can i update my App copy every so often so i always have an updated copy without deleting the old copy and without creating a new copy?

Yes,Your plan will have some limits on the total # of apps and he total storage space, but sure.&nbsp; Just go into the Settings for the App and look for App management and copy the app.&nbsp; Do not copy Users in Roles or else your real users may accidentally end up in the COPY app.&nbsp; I suggest that you include the date in the name of the&nbsp; "Copy of xyz app Dec 1, 2020".&nbsp;&nbsp;You might also change the branding header or put something gaudy on the dashboard of the copy app so even you don't get confused about which app you are in, live or backup.------------------------------Mark Shnier (YQC)Quick Base Solution ProviderYour Quick Base Coachhttp://QuickBaseCoach.commark.shnier@gmail.com------------------------------

Yes you can make a new copy as often as you like.&nbsp; &nbsp;But if you want to make the backup copy to be your Live one, you will have lost any data entry during that period.Quick Base does take nightly backups of all apps, and if you really need to they can help restore that app to how it looked last night, or to restore just lost data.
