Can users change field value in report with a dropdown menu?

I have an app that displays employees, their status, along with other things. I have an employees table and a status table. I would like to give users the ability to change the status with a dropdown ...

Thomas,

This is your table structure.



Make sure Status in the Employees table is a look up value and the proxy for Related Status
Ensure that the Users can modify the field Related Status
Build a Record Picker report in the Status table that includes the Status values you want the Users to have access to.

Let them lose on their own record.
