coloring one cell in a report
I have an important table report that I just switched from Excel to Quick Base. In the Excel spreadsheet we would color cells that were empty red... and I can't figure out how to color one individual ...

There is no native equivalent to cell colorization in Quick Base. You would need to build a new field and if it is numeric, Convention it to text while reserving the appearance of decimals and then color it.
IMHO, the effort will not be worth it. I suggest Row colorization.
