Copy a Sync Field to an editable text field in the Sync'd Table

I need to copy data in a Sync Table from a Sync field to a duplicate "editable" field in the same table when the Sync updates the table.   I have tried automations, actions, table to table imports, all dead ends. Best possible solution ideas accepted.

    An Automation or a Pipeline should work. Why did the automation you tried fail?

      Hi Mark,
      Yes, unfortunately the Sync Field is not showing as an option when I set up the automation.  I also am avoiding new automations since they will be going away in 2022.

        I have not tested but I don't see why a Sync would not be available as a choice as a source but in any event you can set up a pipeline to do this.

        There's a bit of a learning curve the first time you set up a pipeline but it should work.
