Copy and paste between rich text fields.

I need to copy the notes from a call log (RT Field) into another table (RT Field), without  deleting the existing text in the receiving field. I built an automation that copies and types from one field (Call Log Notes) to the next Review Notes) and it fires when the conditions are met however, the text is not added to the receiving field. Any insight?

    You should be able to make a formula field which consists of the existing text of the receiving field plus the text from the other field. Then the automation can copy the formula field into the receiving field.
