Custom Column Heading in a Grid Edit Form Report Override
It's possible that this is already well known, but I thought I would share a tip that I recently stumbled upon.
I often make forms for use when grid editing report links (override role settings by report). Many times, a field on my grid edit form is NOT on my report link (hence the need for the grid edit form...). I've often wondered how I can override the column heading in my grid edit form, as simply checking the 'use alternate label text' does not work.
Solution: Add the field in your report link report. Adjust the column heading there, and save. Then remove the field from the report. That new heading will now override and be used in your grid edit report.
