- ArchiveUserQrew CaptainI've run into this problem too. For a work around, I've found two options.
I created an html page (buttons.html) and just wrote the html/javascript for the buttons and put it on the dashboard as a webpage.
Instead of buttons, if you use the Text widget, you can add a picture or text, then highlight and choose to hyperlink it, this will give you an option to open in another window. - EileenHoward1Qrew MemberIt is insane that we can't have buttons and links easily open in a new window!
- ChristopherChriQrew MemberHas this been resolved? I see it's been about a year ago...
- EileenHoward1Qrew Membernot that I know of
- ColeenSchmitt2Qrew MemberChecking in to see if any updates here? I am looking to create a URL button that opens an external site in a new tab or window.

How about this?
Right click on the Button and click "open in new window"
- TavaForetQrew MemberRight clicking and selecting "open in new window" is a work around but not a solution. This is a very basic element. Has this ever been resolved? We have new users to the system and training staff to click on some buttons and right click on others is inefficient at best.

This is the best current solution as posted above. I do agree it would be a nice enhancement to be able to set a button behaviour to open in new tab.
