Default fields use different Timezone abbreviation

So I just noticed that in the default fields like [Date Created] the system uses 'PST' for Pacific Standard Time,   but in a Date/Time type field,  it uses 'PDT' for Pacific Daylight Time.


I was working on a project to correct some time zone related problems and just noticed this.

Not a big deal,  but for consistency,  [Date Created] should show PDT.
