Default Table Homepage for a specific role

I have a specific role that I would like for them to see a table homepage with a filter already in place. I have done this through making a report, checking off that filter, and then making that the homepage. Problem almost solved.

The problem is, the filters along the left then remove the filter choices in case they want to revert back (filter unselected).

Is there a way to automatically select a filter when a user goes onto a table homepage that does not remove the other choices in the view?
