You need to set your Pipeline to change the value of the "status" field that you are using as the basis for the Kanban report.
If you have multiple fields, when you set a record as denied, then in your Pipeline you should have some rule that if whatever = denied, then set the Kanban status = denied also.

How do I do this? I going into the settings for the Kanban report but I'm not seeing how to do this.
