Difference in time between two entries

I was hoping to get some help in finding a way to get the difference in time between time stamps in two different entries. For example, I want the difference between the end time in Entry A and the start time in Entry B. Entry B would be the entry started right after Entry A.
My goal is to monitor this difference in time.
Is this feasible in Quick Base? Can someone help me figure out how to solve this?

    I think the easiest way would be to create a new Formula Duration field, and make the formula [Entry B]-[Entry A]

    Emily, are you talking about the difference between two separate records or subtracting fields within a single record?

      Hi Mark, 

      I am talking about the duration between 2 different timestamp fields in 2 different records. If you were to think of it in Excel terms, I want the difference between B2 and A3 where A is the start time and B is the end time and rows 2 and 3 are different records.

        Quick Base records have no natural sequences, so you cannot easily do that subtractions.  The "sequence" you see visually is as a result of whatever sort the report happens to be using.

        You would need to get much more specific about your use case for us to respond.
