Disabling view and edit for calendar and kanban reports
I have a dashboard that contains a couple calendar and kanban reports that show leadership various project statuses and upcoming milestones.
I don't want users to be able to open the records from these reports. With a table report, it's easy enough to uncheck the "Allow editing (or viewing) records via this report". This makes it in effect view only.
Right now users are opening the records and getting confused.
I have a workaround that is creating a form for their user role that just says "You need permission to view this record" and a button "Back to My Dashboard."
This is kind of sloppy and not ideal.
Anyone know how to make these calendars and kanbans "view only" on a dashboard?
