If in the Zip table you make the zip code the key field you can lookup the long and lat very simply.
Careful if you have already working relationships with the Zip - Record ID.

zip has many Vendor (Address)
Do not accept the "Related Zip" has the joining field - that will make a new field.
Instead use the drop-down to select the existing zip field from the Vendor Table.
On the next screen you will be able to pick lat and long as lookup fields

Zip is the key in the zip code table. Record Id is still key in Vendor table. Since it is an address, that wont be the key field. I made a vendor zip code - text formula that was equal to the zip code field of the address.
For the relationship, I only have the option of related zip.

What field type is Zip in the Zip table and is it the same field type as the formula zip in the Vendor table? They need to be the same field type to make a relationship.
