Do users who have been put on the Deny list count towards my total number of allowed users per my QuickBase account? NO.
Or do I need to completely delete/deactivate them instead?
For tidiness, I suggest removing users, eventually. But in a larger organization, sometimes the plan is to quickly put the user on the Deny list upon a termination. Then if there is going to be a new hire pretty much on a one-for-one basis, leave the old EE still listed in groups and for access to apps as Users. Then the new hire is done and the Manager asks for the new hire to be set up like XYZ (terminated) was. So, if the terminated EE is still not deleted from access to the apps, then you can see which apps they had access to and set up the new hire in the same groups and with access to the same apps. In a large company with many apps, getting new hires properly set up is often a challenge.
Also, is "Remove User" the same as Delete? YES
Also, if I delete/deactivate a user, will I lose any of the data that the person had entered into any of my tables? NO
Is there any circumstance in which deleting a user could delete some or all of the data they entered? NO
If so, what would that be?
Thanks
