Edit a Dropdown from a Report without Grid Edit

I have an embedded report on a parent table with a checklist. The user would have about 8 options to chose from for each checklist task. I set it up to have buttons to press, but it's very cumbersome....

See this application which converts a report into a form (I call it a formport):

Select some checkboxes and press the green button. This can be coded to have multiple checkboxes and perform some action like updating fields in bulk when the button is clicked.
