Edit a record, on save do something

Trying to replicate scooby doo technique (dans tech), but wit edit record.

I can make things happen with add record not with edit.



Seems that 

if (/a=er/i.test(querystring)) {}



Is not being detected.



have tried to alert querystring variable in edit mode and nothing,

    it is possible your code is breaking before it gets to that line but not before the add record line. You could edit out the a=nwr to a=er and if it works then your code is breaking somewhere before it hits your edit record line. Also make sure the IOL field is being loaded on the edit mode and not just add mode.
