6 years agoOne solution is to have two relationships.
One is regular, with a drop down for internal users. But do not do ANY lookup fields.
Then have a direct data entry field.
Then have a formula field called [Related Parent (final)] that says if the regular drop down is not blank use it, else use the direct entry field.
Then do a relation based on that [Related Parent (final)]
That way the form will properly populate the looks field once Directly entered even before saving.
The EOTI users would have a form rule to only show the Direct entry field.
