Email Subscription Time

Is there any new logic to get a emailed report subscription to email at a specific time recurring or trigger off a record update like a notification?

    No there is not.

    The closest you can come with native tools is to use a scheduled pipeline to tickle a record causing an Email Notification to fire.  That email Notification could either have a link to the report, encouraging the user to "click here"  to see the report, or else you could perhaps have the report embedded on  dummy form where the report would display on the form.
