Embedded Summary Table's Width in Parent Form

Hi All,

Hope you are having a wonderful day.

I have created a Summary Report in the child table, which I wanted to embed into the form of the the parent record.

However, the column widths in the parent's form appear completely different to its appearance in the child table.

How do we adjust the column widths in the parent form?

No worries Mark. I'll try setting up the page in the legacy form to see if I can make it look a bit more cleaner there.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for the quick response. I would like to keep the report as wide as it is, I would like the columns of the report to be evenly sized. The first 4 columns are too wide, while the next 3 are too narrow. There is also no content in the first 4 columns needing it to be that wide.

This is my first time working with the new forms, so I don't know if there is a setting within the form that can adjust this.

    • They have done a lot of work on new V3 Table report column widths on new forms but right now the embdeed summary reports  are a little bit like the neglected stepchild.   I don't think I have any great suggestions.

  • I think you were trying to say that the summary report which is embedded is too wide? If that is the case, if you're using new forms, you can adjust the column width of the section of the embedded report to squish it smaller. If you were talking about legacy forms, then you can similarly put some form elements beside the summary report to squish its space smaller.
