5 years agoThe most likely cause they had the same record in edit mode on two different browser sessions. The record was open for edit on session #1 and in the field say for Color was = Red.
The record was then opened for edit on session #2 and the color field said Red.
The the record was changed in session #1 and Color is now Blue.
The user in session 2 still sees color Red. But the record is now saved as Blue.
When user#2 (I know its the same user, but say session #2) saves System will guide them through conflict resolution for any fields where there is confusion about what the value should be.
So basically it would be the user tripping over themselves.
