Flip Report, Transpose

Not within the report / native capabilities, no. To Mark's most recent post, in order to transpose it you would need to likely build out some kind of staging area / table where you could reformat and cluster the data in a way that QB could report with that transposed format. Pipelines should make this easier than it was before - but in order to actually achieve this with native reports you'll need to transform it. 

A custom code page would also do it if you're familiar - just extract the data and rebuild the table for yourself. You could render it for view or build your own custom CSV downloader with the format you want.

I appreciate your feedback. One other "minor" detail I left out is that they want to edit the fields in that spreadsheet like report. The reason they want this out of excel and into Quick Base is because our business currently uses a shared drive and it has become a labyrinth in which nobody can find the file/ data that they need without asking several people where it is located.

So to make sure I understand - you have this data in Quickbase already in one format - but need it transposed so that your users can enter the data via that transposed format? If that's the case - your level of difficulty potentially went way up. What is your current data structure like? In the above you could still try the temporary reporting table - but in all likelihood that structure would support some kind of summary or table report aimed at just displaying data in a way that your users can easily digest. If you're talking about their ability to grid edit/enter from a table, it's two fold that your structure has to have the schema to support the entry and also in a way that it feeds back to your original data model. I might just be rambling - so perhaps a little more context would help.
