Formula changes

This promises to be a major change.  Having to build relationships that do not really represent the data structure to get an answer in a report has been quite convoluted.    Harrison Hersch posted this yesterday:

The $60K question is if we can look at other tables and query on dates.  That would be a game changer.  Tom Leverone posted a piece in November showing exactly the type of problem.

His solution is very creative but it means baking into the application a structure that has nothing to do with your underlying business problem.

Hopefully there will be a meaningful demo soon.

  • This will be a game changer.  The syntax will be a bit tricky due to its power, but very powerful for a power type app builder who (like you and I) are not real Javascript coders,  and do not want to introduce complex Javascript code pages into their apps written by hired hands.

    I can't wait!
