A formula field cannot be used as a drop-down. Formulas - no matter the type - only produce an output as determined by the formula you've created.

------------------------------- BlakeHarrison5 years agoQrew CaptainThe Formula Multi-Select Text field is intended to allow you to combine multiple values from other data points so that they are presented to the user as a list of values. Formulas will only ever produce a value and cannot be used as a drop-down.
