Funnel Report Sorting

Hello, 

New to QuickBase, and I'm having trouble with my very first report. I need a funnel report for our prospects. I need the prospect stages to appear in order. Neither I nor my orientation specialist have been able to figure out how to do this. I've numbered the stages (both with and without periods after) and set it to sort by that field. Nope. The numbers I put in the stages don't show on the report, even though the display value is set to Value and Name

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Your exact set up is a little unclear. Can you give more details on how things are set up here? When you say your display value is set to value and name, which part of the report are you referring to? The columns?

    Are there multiple tables? Are the prospect stages always the same?

    If you create a secondary table that holds your stages you can also create a field called something like Stage Index and sort based on that field. Just add a number and increment up one per stage(or record in this case as it is the stage table) that you have.

      More description: On our Clients table, we have a status of "Prospect". For every entry with that status type, the Prospect Stage field (multiple choice dropdown - with each stage having a sequential number as the first part of its name) is populated. I'm trying to create a funnel report showing the number of companies in each stage that is in the same order as the stages.

      Is there a way to do this using only that field?

    Are th3 Prospect stages taken off a multiple choice field?  If so there is an option on the field properties to "sort in the order Above", as opposed to Alphabetically.

      Corrected: The prospect stages are taken off of a multiple choice field, which is coded to "Sort in the order Above". The report is sorting them in alphabetical order, but it is ignoring the numbers I put in front of each stage both in terms of sorting and the legend.
