Hard Return or Line Break in a Form

I want to vary the number of fields I have on any one given line in a form, but I am not sure how to insert a hard return or line break. 

Checking the "same line" box works on the sequence of the fields.

Maybe this is an easy one, but I just can't figure it out.

    Maybe I'm not understanding the question, but if you are asking about how to lay out fields on a form, if you do not check he box to keep on the same line then the field starts a new line.

    But maybe post a screen shot of a typical record on your form and we will be able to see what you are trying to accomplish.

    I'm not certain I'm understanding the question fully, but if it pertains to just making a break in between rows, I use a form text field with HTML enabled, then just use "<br>"
