Hi ,   i have a scenario where i need to  create a new record in table B (in App B ) when a new record is created in  Table A (in App A).

I have  TWO apps called -" AppA" &  "AppB" & their tables are "A"  &  "B" respectively
in  AppB  , table "B"  - i have  field called  "Aref "(look up type) which has a  look up relation with table A of AppA.

now i want to create a record in table B(App B), whenever a new record is sublitted in tableA (App A)

As a solution- i tried to set a new QUICKBASE ACTION with criteria -- when table A record is added create a new record in B. but it does not work cause in i m trying to copy name field's value of record A to the Aref field of table B.

but i notice that when both field  of table A and table B are  text type... then  2 records gets inserted  , one for table and another for tableB.. but same  thing does not work when table B field (Aref)has a look up relation with table A.

can some1 help me on  this.? is it possible through QB actions  ??? pls provide a solution ASAP
