I have a button that makes a GET request to another website then it populates my fields in QuickBase. The issue is I do not want to button to show until the file is saved because it will not work until the record is saved. Is there anyway to hide this button until record is saved?
Yes it is possible to chose which versions of a form a specific field shows up on. If you go into the form your users are working with and you right click on the button's name you can chose to "edit the properties of this form element". What this does is bring up the form builder and some options specific to how that field is used on the form.
From there you can set when the field is displayed. In this instance you can set it show the field only on the Edit and View versions of the form, not on Add.
You would just need to adjust this setting on any Form that your users make use of for adding records to your table. I hope this helps to point you in the right direction Michael.
