Highlight changes like Word does for "Track Changes"

I have only done this manually with a List-Text formula that compares the values in two fields; and then if there is a difference, outputs a text value with the field name that has changed.  Obviously if there are a lot of fields; this might not be the best solution.  I have not implemented a larger-scale solution for anyone either like this.
