How can I create a Rich Text Formula Button using a Report Link Field?

I have a report link field and I'm trying to make a rich text button that goes to the same link. I thought I could just add the field in 'var text URL=' but it doesn't seem to work that way. Any ideas?

If you are trying to replicate a Report Link field button, then you first have to make your perfect Report with the answer to the question being a field on th erected that the button will be on.

Then run the repor, answer the question and observe the URL

Then replicate the URL by formula

URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_Table name from advanced properties] & "?a=q&qid=xx&nv=1&v0=" & urlencode([field that Answers the question])

Thanks, Mark. I ended up finding the solution here:&nbsp;https://community.quickbase.com/quickbase/topics/button-for-report-linkOnce I removed the semi-colon from Dan's solution, it worked perfectly.
