How do I attach a document to a job - either pdf or excel?

I'm looking to attach a document to a job that tracks various project completion steps. Is there any way to attach a document to a job either via pdf or excel? I cannot find anywhere to attach...thanks

You can create a new field of type 'File Attachment' that will allow you to upload any file.   Are you just trying to attach it to the record or are you wanting to do more with it?
