How to hide +New Record Button that is standard at top of a Table Home Page

How do I hide the "+New Record" button that is standard at top of a Table Home Page

    The setting for that is in the user Interface for each Role.  Typically, you would want that  that Add button would be suppressed when you only want child records to  be created by launching off the Parent.
