For these types of questions you would need to give more details on what you are currently doing and trying to achieve. What are you attempting to accomplish? For example are you trying to make an Action change a date field on the same record whenever the status is updated by a user? Are you attempting to change the status on a Company record when a Contact on the child table is changed? We would need some more details on what you are looking to do to be able to answer this.
