I think you have set that field to be "conditional" upon some other field in the form, and when you do that, it doesn't work. Correct?
If so, make sure the "dependency" is on the form as well, even if its in a hidden section, it has to be on the form.
If you are trying to set the record picker or modify that report that is used for the "data entry" then you'll need to customize that report.
Who knows, I could be way off.

I have just checked and everything is there. It is working fine in normal mode. but when I try to do this in grid edit mode it won't.
Any ideas that why it is not working in the grid edit mode.

Does the field that drives the dependency appear in the grid edit report? - GauravSharma39 years agoQrew CommanderYes, as SOW Name is dependent on the Client field and I am using the same form in grid edit mode.
