Yes, there is native functionality in Quick Base to create a field and change its field properties to indicate that it should behave as a snapshot field and take its values from a lookup field and freeze them.

------------------------------- MarkShnier__YouThe lookup fields offered should be the fields that exist as lookups into the table and which match the field type of the field you are setting to be a snapshot. For example a numeric field will only let you select numeric lookups to snapshot.
