I need a calendar that reflects the job with dates from two separate fields.

I have a jobs table that has one field with a date for a ?Drop-Off? and one field with a date for ?Pick-Up?. Typically the dates are 5 days apart, but that changes from job to job.

I need a calendar that reflects activity from both fields. For instance on 4/22/2018 a given driver may have 2 drop-offs and 3 pick-ups. I need all 5 of these activities to show on the same calendar whether the calendar reflects a weekly view or a daily view. I can?t find a way to do that.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

    In order to accomplish this with the native QB calendar.  You will need to make some modifications to the app tables.  Namely, adding an 'events' table.

    The Events will be a child to the Jobs.  Then you will want to use QB Actions to create those events, based on the pick-up and drop-off dates.

    Then base the calendar on the 'events' rather than the jobs.


    Depending on your workflow, you may need to look at easy ways to modify those events in case the dates or details change.
