ifv not working with API_AddRecord?
Hey all, has anyone else encountered this? I'm using a rich text button to (among other things) add and display a new record in one fell swoop. However, I cannot get it to respect my &ifv=10 settings...

Qrew LegendA low tech solution if the only answer is code pages and others see this post and don't have those technical skills, would possibly be to redirect the user to a report of records created by the current user within the last minute. There would probably only be one record there.
The user would launch off a button on that report to continue with the next step.

I think I may end up needing to go with a code page solution... I'm encountering a few other use cases this morning where it seems necessary to create a new record and pass that new RID onto another record with the click of one button. Do any of you know of a good example of someone doing this? I haven't thoroughly search the forums yet since I was hoping to avoid this eventuality.
