iPhone wont upload files after iOS update?

My iPhone updated to the latest iOS, and now i cannot attach files or photos to a file attachment field. I am thinking it is some sort of new security setting, but I cant find it. Does anyone know the solution?

Edit: I figured out that it just won't add any photos that were already on the device before the update. Any new photos will add. Something strange with the security settings. Luckily, I only need to attach new photos, but if anyone knows what setting this is, let me know.

    My iPhone is current on iOS 17.3.1 and I was able to upload photos using my usual Safari browser and also I tried Chrome and both were OK to upload to a file attachment field.
