is there a way to deny phone app access ?

I just wanted to ask a follow up to your question, is the goal to prevent an app from being accessed via the mobile app all the time? So that users could only access it at a computer to avoid them trying to collect data when they shouldn't?

That's correct. Although we are mostly virtual now there are some cases where our trainers need to be on site in the practice.
So we want to reduce any inadvertent capture of patient information. Basically the same rules you would want your doctor to enforce- no cameras and no recording devices. Difficult with modern phones but we want to reduce the need/temptation to pull them out.
