Is there a way to simply color code groups in a report so that every other group is a different color?
Without using any group ID's as they will change frequently without any pattern. I assume this is a no, but checking anyways.

What types of groups are you trying to color code? Would it be records that all share same name or same value in a specific field? Is there anything distinctive about the groups you would want color coded differently that could be used to build a formula?
