Is there an easy way to adjust all predecessors if you add a new task?

Developing table with predecessors for project management.
After some time I wanted to add one task to my standard list between previously existing one.
Example Below:
Record ID# - No explanation needed
Task # - How I would like to position it now
Related initiative - number imported from different table.

Is there a way that Predecessor field would relate to different column than Record ID #?
