Lat/Long in QB address field?

Is there a way to enter the latitude and longitude into a qb address field?

My need is this - I have locations with no addresses but just lat and long, I would like to enter that into QB and have my users be able to click on it and see the location.

I know a long work around is for me to put the lat/long in google maps and then enter the address in QB, just wondering my other options.

  • np, you enter the lat in street 1 and the long in street 2.

Ahh. I tried that but realized I put the North/West before my coordinats, and the correct syntax is after (123.567N,12345.123W).

Too bad it doesn't grab the city and state when you do that (if you manually enter it breaks it) but I suppose that makes sense. Can't have everything.

OK well then I learned something. I did not realize that you could use the  "N" "S" type entry.  I thought it had to be pure numeric.
