When I look up TablePress it states you can do "sorting, pagination, filtering, and more for site visitors" with the additon of a JavaScript extension. It gives a link to
https://tablepress.org/extensions/ which has many extensions for TablePress. It looks like some are premium features that might cost you money.
It also says "You may also add certain features (like sorting, pagination, filtering, alternating row colors, row highlighting, print name and/or description, …) by enabling the corresponding checkboxes on a table's "Edit" screen." which makes it sound like you can do all of this inside the TablePress plugin without anything extra.
