Mobile - No Option To Add New

I am working on a mobile version of an app and have run into an issue with tables and not having the option to add new.

I have a table (Refrigerants) and three other tables setup as Refrigerants have many racks, many cases and many coils. When I am adding a new record in any of these tables and select the refrigerant dropdown, I see no option to add new. Is this a limitation of mobile or do I need to setup these fields a different way.

    I'm pretty sure that's the normal behaviour for mobile mode. The only thing I can suggest is to put your own button on the parent record to add a child.  But it does break up the workflow for the user.

      Thanks Mark, that was kind of what I was thinking, and see no other way around this. Native mobile is not exactly user-friendly.
