  • Hi Pushpakumar,

Which columns are you trying to hide in the summary report? Is it specific values from the field you are summarizing against? For example if you had a status field as the columns for the grouping with Open, In Progress, Closed and you wanted to remove the Closed column from your summary report?

If so you would do that using the Filters and setting the filter to show only records whose status is not Closed, that would remove all those records from your summary. I hope that suggestion is helpful Pushpakumar.

Hi Evan , Thanks a lot for replying to my post.

Yes i am trying to hide the summary column (not the rows) .

Basically i am using a column that is a formula based on the summary column. I just want to show only the calculated column not the summary.

      Thanks

        Hi Pushpakumar,

So you have a summary report totaling records up based on a field like # of records and a calculated column on the report. Currently you have both and instead you only want to use the calculated column as the way you are summarizing up records? So like the first image would be where you are now with your usual summary and then the calculated column and you would want to just remove the field you are summarizing on? I left a column in the middle just to give comparison. In that instance now that the calculated column exists you should actually see it in the summary report as an option for you to summarize on at the very bottom of the report typically. You can try summarizing on that if that is how you want to summarize it just might alter your groupings if for example a record wouldn't have a value in the calculated column and would then be excluded.
