- MarkShnier__You3 years agoQrew LegendA suggestion is that rather than redirect the user to a code page, you should redirect the user to the record they just saved but on an alternate form. The form would be used to view the record and presumably these users are EOTI users. Everyone on the Internet. So the form for that role in view mode would be a form with the thank you words and of course the record ID is available to you.

------------------------------- LijaHarris3 years agoQrew CadetThank you Mark, that is a brilliant idea - I am however due to utility sensitive information unfortunately trying to avoid that route for now (although an option). I assume that if I were to do your suggestion, I would use code similar to the code pages ample app for save and keep working? I did use the form creation wizard as well to create my initial input form.
However, what could be easier is showing a static field on the html/java code page instead. Is there a way to add a formula field to a code page? In this case, it would be a formula - text field (static text).

Sorry, but I can't help you with the code page. My solution is kind of stupid simple. You set the EOTI role to use a form in View Mode which just Thanks the user and displays any non-sensitive information such as a reference number.
The idea is is that if somebody hacks their way into the EOTI app they are not allowed by Role permissions to edit, they are only allowed to add, and then in View Mode they only see the thank you page which is not very interesting to playful hackers.
Of course, this is not real security as someone experienced with QuickBase can guess their way into other form ID numbers and alter the URL to change the form ID
