New notification
I would like to hide the new notification next to new information that has put in. How do I do this?

So to borrow this thread... Can I set flags to remain more than 24 hours? I would to use them in lieu of email notifications in some cases.
- Those flags are notoriously mysterious as to the "rules" in the first place and the rules cannot be controlled, so not a good plan to use them.
- Ahh too bad. They would have been great but oh well. I appreciate the warning on that.
