New notification
I would like to hide the new notification next to new information that has put in. How do I do this?

So to borrow this thread... Can I set flags to remain more than 24 hours? I would to use them in lieu of email notifications in some cases.
Those flags are notoriously mysterious as to the "rules" in the first place and the rules cannot be controlled, so not a good plan to use them.
