Note Fields

General preference on notes fields?  Multi line text with logging vs a related table?  I currently have notes attached to projects and opportunities as a multi line text field with logging on.  Works ...

My preference is a child table as a regular multiline text field. I feel it's a bit unfair to users not to let them edit and correct typos or re-phrase.
