Notification to all user of the App

Hi, 

Is there a way to send an email notification to all the user of an app when we change the name of the app. There is no change in any record for any of the tables though.

    If you go to the USERs tab on your app, there is a button there to export to CSV.

    Then you should be able to copy the email address columns into your mail system "TO:" box like Outlook or gmail.

      Thanks Mark. This seems to be manual process to send out emails using Outlook. Do we have any automated notification email option from QB

        Hi Neha,

        There isn't a way to set up an automatic notification to send out when changes like the app name happens, it is not something out notification system looks for. For something like an app name change where you want to make sure all your users know what to look for and have a link to the app just in case in the past when making changes like that I have sent out a notification for that by going into the Users table, clicking the checkbox at the top of the list of users on the left, and then selecting Send Invite. This will give you a pre-generated message about being invited to the app but you can change the Subject and Body of the email to instead let them know that app name (and possible other things) have changed about the app without having to go out to Outlook. This way you are also sending them a link to the app if the name change throws them off. I hope that helps.
